A 47-year-old man from St Helens has been charged today (Friday 12 July) following a drugs investigation carried out by detectives from the North West Regional Organised Crime Unit.
Paul Cahoon of Porter Close, Rainhill, was extradited from Dubai yesterday (Thursday, July 11), with assistance from the NCA's Extradition Unit, following his detention by Dubai police officers.
He appeared at Wirral Magistrates Court this afternoon and was remanded into custody.
Cahoon will next appear at Liverpool Crown Court on 9 August 2024.
