Last night (Tuesday 20 May) a series of coordinated warrants took place in Merseyside and Holland as part of a joint investigation into an international drug trafficking network.
During the searches in Merseyside, officers recovered electronic devices, cash, and a significant quantity of Class A drugs.
A 47 year old man from Hungary and a 32 year old man from Huyton were both arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.
Simultaneously, in the Netherlands, authorities arrested five individuals; two men from the UK, and three men from Holland were arrested on suspicion of drug supply offences.
A 37 year old man from Vauxhall, Liverpool has been arrested this evening, (Wednesday 21 May) on suspicion on conspiracy to supply Class A drugs, as part of the investigation.
All suspects have been taken to local police stations for questioning.
