A man wanted in connection with a major drug conspiracy has been extradited from Belgium and returned to the UK.
John Debbage, 39, from Ferryhill in Durham, was detained in Belgium and brought back to the UK yesterday (Thursday 2 October). He has now been charged with Conspiracy to Supply Class A drugs (Cocaine).
Debbage has been wanted by the North West Regional Organised Crime Unit (NWROCU) since June 2023. Following his arrest overseas, arrangements were made for his extradition.
He is due to appear before Manchester Magistrates’ Court today, Friday 3 October.
