A suspect has been charged in connection with allegations he used social media to sell counterfeit passports and visas to people attempting to unlawfully enter the UK.
Jamel Majed, 40, was arrested as part of an investigation by the Eastern Region Special Operations Unit (ERSOU).
It is alleged that between 15 June and 2 November 2025, the suspect used TikTok to advertise and sell false identification documents, which also included driving licences, both within the UK and to individuals living overseas.
He was detained on 27 October 2025, after officers executed a search warrant at his home in Nevinson Road, Swindon, Wiltshire.
Mr Majed has now been charged by ERSOU’s Organised Immigration Crime Team, with an offence of making or supplying articles for use in frauds.
He is bailed to attend Luton Magistrates’ Court on 8 October.
