Two men have been arrested in connection with the importation of hundreds of kilos of cannabis following an investigation by the South West Regional Organised Crime Unit (SWROCU).
A man in his 40s was arrested at his address in South East London on 3 March. A second man in his 20s from Blackburn was arrested yesterday (10 March).
Both were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the importation of class B drugs and being concerned in the supply of class B drugs following the interception of a shipment of household furniture by UK Border Force.
Hidden inside the furniture were two consignments containing a total of 800 kilos of cannabis addressed to a premises in Exeter.
Both men have been bailed and investigations are ongoing.

Cannabis was found within items of furtniture
