Eight arrested following drugs warrants across Lancashire and Greater Manchester

Officers from the North West Regional Crime Unit arrested eight people during warrants today (Wednesday 19 March) across Lancashire and Greater Manchester, as part of an investigation into drug supply. 

A 40-year-old man from Colne, Lancashire was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply Class A and B drugs.

A 74-year-old woman from Accrington, a 50-year-old man from Padiham, and a 50-year-old man from Colne, Lancashire were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs. 

The following individuals were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply Class B drugs:

• A 34-year-old woman from Cheetham Hill, Manchester
• A 34-year-old man from Cheetham Hill, Manchester
• A 34-year-old man from Manchester
• A 50-year-old man with no fixed abode.

 They have been taken to a local police station for questioning.
