Detectives from the North West Regional Organised Crime Unit (NWROCU) have charged three men and two women as part of an extensive investigation into a Bradford-based organised crime group. The group is suspected of smuggling drugs, mobile phones, and other contraband into prisons.
The following have been charged with Conspiracy to convey list A and B articles into HMP Manchester and HMP Maidstone, and money laundering:
Daniel Yasin, 21, of Killinghall Road, Bradford
Afzal Takolia, 49, of Leeds Road, Bradford
Evie Fox, 19 of Merchants Court, Bradford
Adam Takolia, 27 of Wharncliffe Drive, Bradford
Georgina Marshall, 28, of Wharncliffe Drive, Bradford.
They will appear at Manchester Magistrates Court on Thursday 3 April 2025.
