This morning (Friday 5 December) detectives from the North West Regional Organised Crime Unit charged eight men and a woman with drugs offences, following raids that took place in Liverpool, Sefton, and Knowsley yesterday morning.
The following have been charged with conspiracy to produce Class A drugs and conspiracy to supply Class B drugs:
Joseph Rooney, 43, of Walton Park, Liverpool
Anthony Thompson, 42, of Wimborne Close, Liverpool
Anthony Bradley, 46, of Grey Road, Liverpool
Raymond Cato, 54, of Shrewton Road, Belle Vale
Shaun Bell, 37, of Hills Place Wavertree
Paul Wright, 44, of no fixed abode
Stuart Thompson, 69, of Atherton Street, Prescot
Carla Thompson, 50, of Crossford Road, Huyton was charged with permitting premises to be used to produce Class B drugs and participating in activities of an organised crime group.
James Sands, 44, of Green Lane, Tuebrook was charged with conspiracy to produce Class A drugs.
They have all been remanded into custody and will appear at Liverpool Magistrates Court today (Friday 5 December).
