The South East Regional Organised Crime Unit (SEROCU) is appealing for the public’s help in tracing a wanted man from Sussex.

Officers would like to speak to Jean-Michel Duvivier in connection with an investigation into drugs importation and supply offences.

The 44-year-old from Eastbourne failed to appear at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on 9 March and subsequently Lewes Crown Court.

He was due to answer a charge of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs which was added to six previous charges - two counts of conspiracy to evade the prohibition on importation of a controlled drug of class B, conspiracy to supply a controlled drug of class B and three counts of money laundering, for which he was awaiting trial. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

Officers believe he may have left the country. He has links to France, Spain, Cyprus, Dubai and Thailand. He also has links to the south coast of England.

Duvivier is described as White, of stocky build, 5ft 10ins, has brown eyes and grey hair.

He has tattoos on his right arm, including one of a dragon, and a tattooed sleeve on his left arm.

It is believed he may have changed his appearance since this photograph was taken and may now be clean shaven and styled his hair differently.

If you see Duvivier please do not approach him, instead call Sussex Police on the 24-hour non-emergency number 101 quoting reference: 47260086006.

If you do not wish to speak to police, please call the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
