Ten charged following drug warrants carried out in Manchester, Hull, London, and Kent yesterday

Last night (Thursday 5 March), NWROCU detectives charged eight men and two women as part of an investigation into a drug conspiracy.

The charges follow warrants that were carried out yesterday morning across Manchester, Hull, London, and Kent.

The following were charged with conspiracy to supply Class A and B drugs, and conspiracy to produce cannabis:

Rezart Balesi, 43, of Caldy Drive, Ramsbottom
Refail Balesi, 39, of Links View Court, Whitefield
Fatos Vrenezi, 53, of Sunny Bank Road, Bury
Imanuel Lumaj, 30, of Heathway, Dagenham.

The following were charged with conspiracy to supply Class A drugs:

Joshua Balesi, 21, of Hazelwood Drive, Bury
Lorenzo Canovi, 53, of Lune Close, Whitefield
Fjoraldo Lukaj, 30, of Albert Avenue, Hull.

Megi Zaimi, 31, of Mandon Close, Radcliffe was charged with conspiracy to supply Class A /B drugs and money laundering.

Antonino PPrecaj , 33, of Capstan Ride, Enfield was charged with conspiracy to supply Class B drugs and conspiracy to produce cannabis.

Claire Balesi, 32, of Caldy Drive, Ramsbottom was charged with conspiracy to supply Class A/ B drugs.  

They have all been remanded to appear at Manchester Magistrates Court this morning (Friday 6 March).
