Four men from Manchester have been arrested as part of an investigation into courier fraud by detectives from the North West Regional Organised Crime Unit (NWROCU).
Detectives have conducted an investigation into a scam where fraudsters are duping victims into handing over their debit cards or moving their money into a ‘safe’ account. A 23-year-old man from Chadderton and three men aged 39, 29, and 21 from Rochdale, were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to defraud following warrants carried out this morning (Friday 2 August) with officers from Greater Manchester Police. The NWROCU are committed to tackling Fraud offences.
